Fora de Cena

No passado domingo, decorreu a cerimónia de entrega dos Golden Globes (Globos de Ouro). Embora a minha cerimónia de eleição sejam logicamente os Óscares (candidatos relevados no dia 25/01), os Globos de Ouro são igualmente importantes.

Sem grandes surpresas. The Social Network (A Rede Social) acumula mais, e mais ouro… grande vencedor da noite, que arrecadou os prémios de Melhor Filme (Drama), Melhor Realizador (David Fincher), Melhor Argumento (Aaron Sorkin) e Melhor Trilha Sonora (Trent Reznor e Atticus Ross). O Óscar é um futuro mais que plausível, com quatro globos na algibeira. The Kids Are All Right (Os Miúdos Estão Bem) merece reconhecimento… uma das melhores comédias dramáticas feitas até hoje. E claro, Portman e Firth receberam o prémio de melhor actriz/actor.

Sem grandes novidades no grupo dos vencedores, a verdadeira surpresa (que também era de esperar) veio de Ricky Gervais, actor britânico que foi convidado a apresentar a cerimonia. O actor, desde logo avisou que não ia poupar ninguém… Gervais “gozou” com o presidente da HFPA (entidade responsável pelo evento), lançou algumas piadas contra Hugh Hefner (dono da Playboy), e massacrou filmes como The Tourist (O Turista). Foi óbvio que algumas das “celebridades” não gostaram das piadas, sendo provável que Gervais não volte a apresentar no futuro esta cerimonia… mas valeu a pena, finalmente alguém que tornou os Globos de Ouro mais “animados”.
